Roller Rag Weekend at Woodward

Roller Rag is celebrating five years in print with a private, community-only weekend at Woodward PA — and you’re invited.

This is a rare opportunity to skate at one of the most iconic action sports facilities in the country with a dedicated group of roller skaters, without crowds and without programming pressure.

Just time, space, and a whole lot of rolling!

What this weekend is all about

This is a capped, community-only weekend built for roller skaters (quad and inline!) who love ramps, parks, pump tracks, and the freedom to explore on their own terms — no formal coaching, no required programming, just time, space, and a supportive group of skaters learning from and riding alongside one another.

You’ll have the chance to skate, watch, share tips, try new things, rest when you need to, and ride what excites you — exactly the way Roller Rag has always existed on the page.

Access includes indoor and outdoor park features such as ramps, bowls, pump tracks, and street-style terrain.

Lodging

Woodward has blocked a limited number of shared lodging rooms across:

• The Lodge

• The Landing

• Buds Barn

All rooms are shared — most rooms sleep 4 people, with a few sleeping 5.

Lodging spaces include mini fridges and/or access to shared kitchen areas, so you’re welcome to bring your own food and snacks.

Full room layouts, availability, and pricing will be provided through a private Woodward booking link after you register.

Cost (what to expect)

Because lodging and riding are booked directly through Woodward, your total cost depends on the lodging option you choose and how many people you share with.

Most attendees can expect the full weekend to cost approximately:

$260–$320 per person

This includes:

• Lodging (2 nights)

• Woodward ride access

• Saturday continental breakfast

• Saturday night pizza

• Two days of riding

Registration fee

To reserve your spot, Roller Rag charges a $25 registration fee.

Registration is required to receive access to the private Woodward booking link.

This weekend is capped and will fill — once spots are gone, registration will close!

Who this weekend is for

• Skaters who love park, ramp, and transition skating

• Skaters who enjoy learning by watching, sharing, and riding together

• Skaters who can comfortably skate and stop on their own

No formal coaching is provided, but newer park skaters are absolutely welcome. This weekend is about community learning, not perfection.

Safety requirements

For everyone’s safety:

• Helmets are required at all times while skating

• Other safety gear (knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards) is strongly recommended

Woodward staff will be present to manage facilities and ensure a safe riding environment.
